Notice to Claim the Cerificate of Contestability to Qualified Contestable Customers in Luzon and Visayas [Archive-147]

Notice is hereby given to all electricity end-users with a monthly average peak demand of at least one megawatt (1 MW) in Luzon and Visayas that the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) is issuing their respective Certificates of Contestability starting on August 24, 2011. Please note that certificates are available for end-users with monthly peak demand of 1.5 MW and up. Notices of potential contestability are available for those with monthly peak demand of 1 MW to 1.49 MW of July 2011.
 
The Certificates of Contestability and letter-notices may be secured from ERC for those customers in the MERALCO franchise area, while customers located outside the MERALCO franchise area may obtain their Certificates of Contestability and letter-notices from their respective Distribution Utilities. Further, the Certificates of Contestability and letter-notices of directly connected customers have been forwarded to National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP).
 
Customers are advised to inform ERC personnel prior to claiming said certificates from the ERC at (02) 633-3253 or (02)914-5000 local 147, or through contestable@erc.gov.ph.
 
In claiming the said certificates, please bring identification card and authorization in case a representative will claim on your behalf.
