Notice of the Proposed EPIRA Amendments [Archive-26]

The Department of Energy (DOE) is considering to amend Rule 3, Section 4 (e) and (s) and Rule 18, Section 7 of the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act No. 9136, otherwise known as the Electric Power Industry Reform Act of 2001 (EPIRA). Relative thereto, the DOE requested the assistance of the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) in soliciting comments from the public on the proposed amendments. Thus, notice is hereby given that the DOE's proposed amendments to Rule 3, Section 4 (e) and (s) and Rule 18, Section 7 of the EPIRA IRR are posted on the ERC website at www.erc.gov.ph for public comments.

All interested parties may submit their comments (both hard and soft copies) on the proposed amendments on or before April 16, 2007. Hard copies may be delivered to the Docket Section of the ERC located at the 15th Floor, Pacific Center Building, San Miguel Avenue, Ortigas Center, Pasig City or through fax number (02)631-5879, and soft copies may be emailed to fgbaldo@erc.gov.ph.
