Generation Sector. Generation of electric power, a business affected with public interest, shall be competitive and open. (Sec. 6, RA 9136)
Generation Company refers to any person or entity authorized by the ERC to operate facilities used in the generation of electricity. (Sec 4 x, RA 9136)
Generation
of Electricity refers to the production of electricity by a generation
company or a co-generation facility pursuant to the provisions of this
Act. (Sec 4 y, RA 9136)
