With the MOA signed, CDC will assist the ERC in the performance of its regulatory and supervisory functions over the generation and distribution of electric power within the Clark Special Economic Zone (CSEZ).
The ERC expresses its heartfelt gratitude to CDC for extending such assistance to the ERC. With the MOA in place, CSEZ locators in Clark will no longer travel all the way to Manila to file their applications with the ERC.
CDC President Ng, on the other hand, committed to help ERC with regard to the full compliance of CSEZ locators on the requirements being enforced by the ERC. He also expressed appreciation for the administrative support being extended by the ERC to CDC to enable it to fulfill the development plans in Clark.
