Notice is hereby given that Resolution No. 2 of the WESM Tripartite Committe is currently posted on the ERC Website for comment. The Committee was created for the study and adoption of certain market mitigating measures to be implemented in the Philippine Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM). The said Committee has adopted an initial offer price ceiling or bid cap of P62,000.00/MWh to apply during commercial operations of the WESM.
All interested parties are invited to submit their comments to the initial bid cap on or before June 19, 2006. Written comments may be submitted to the Committee Secretariat through the DOE Electric Power Industry Management Bureau, Meritt Road, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, Metro Manila or by electronic mail at tripartite@wesm.ph .
