Notice of Public Consultation on the Guidelines for the Setting of Electric Generation Rates and Subsidies for Missionary Electrification Areas by NPC-SPUG
Notice is hereby given of the filing of the “Application (With Prayer for Issuance of Provisional Authority) ” by the National Power Corporation – Small Power Utilities Group (NPC-SPUG) on December 6, 2004 for the approval of the proposed guidelines for the setting of electric generation rates and subsidies for missionary electrification area and the subsequent filing of a “Motion To Admit Amended Draft Guidelines” on April 12, 2005 which provides a clearer and more detailed presentation of the components of the True Cost Generation Rate, Socially Acceptable Generation Rate and Missionary Electrification Subsidy, including the formulae and methodology in the determination thereof.
The Commission has put the proposed set of guidelines for public consultation following this schedule:

All interested parties may submit their comments (both hard and soft copies) on the proposed guidelines on or before May 19, 2005 (for Luzon Islands Group SPUG Areas), May 26, 2005 (for Visayas Islands Group SPUG Areas) and June 2, 2005 (for Mindanao Islands Group SPUG Areas). Only parties who have filed their written comments on or before the prescribed period would be allowed to participate in the above scheduled dates for public consultation. The proposed guidelines may be photocopied at cost, during regular office hours at the ERC Main Office at the above-mentioned address or may be downloaded from the ERC Website at www.erc.gov.ph.
