ERC RE-VISIT LIFELINE PROGRAM

The Energy Regulatory Commission’s Regulatory Operations Service (ROS) is conducting an on going-study on the existing lifeline threshold levels, discounts and corresponding lifeline charge being implemented by the Distribution Utilities pursuant to the Commission’s Decision on the approved Unbundled Rates.

The DUs listed in the attached file already provided the Commission data on their Frequency Distribution of Residential Customer’s kWh Consumption by Average Number of Customers and Actual Monthly Consumption for the year 2004 or the most recent 12-month period.

The said information will provide useful inputs in the ROS’ study which will be the basis of their recommendation to the Commission to revisit the lifeline programs.
