Invitation to comment on the proposed amendments to the Guidelines for the Issuance of Licenses to Retail Electricity Suppliers

Notice is hereby given that Article II (Qualifications, Criteria and Limitations of a Retail Electricity Supplier) and Article VII (Obligations of Retail Electricity Suppliers) of the “Guidelines for the Issuance of Licenses to Retail Electricity Suppliers” promulgated by the Commission on August 21, 2005 will be subjected to amendments.

All interested parties may submit their comments (both hard and soft copies) on the proposed amendments on or before November 29, 2005:

a) Hard copies may be delivered at the ERC Main Office c/o Dir. Edgar F. Samonte of the Market Operations Service (MOS) or through fax number (02) 633-3253; and
b) Soft copies may be sent to mdsantos@erc.gov.ph or contestable@erc.gov.ph.

The subject Guidelines, as well as the proposed amendments thereto may be downloaded from the ERC Website at www.erc.gov.ph.
