Case No. 2003-356 Order: In the Matter of the Application for the Approval of
the Proposed PDM for the WESMNotice of cancellation of public consultation on the Price Determination Methodology (PDM) for the Philippine Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM)
On 31 August 2005, the Philippine Electricity Market Corporation-Market Operator (PEMC-MO) filed its full compliance to the Order of the Energy Regulatory Commission dated 15 March 2005 relative to its application for the approval of the Price Determination Methodology (PDM) for the Philippine Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM).
The Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) has issued a subsequent Order dated 23 November 2005 requiring PEMC-MO to comply with several directives contained therein.
In line with this, notice is hereby given that the Public Consultation for the PDM scheduled on 14 December 2005 is meantime cancelled. In lieu of public consultation, public hearings for PDM will be held instead as approved by the Commission subsequent to PEMC’s compliance with the ERC directives indicated in the 23 November 2005 Order.
The latest submission of the PEMC-MO shall however remain posted on this website together with the latest Order issued by the ERC dated 23 November 2005.
