Comments on the Draft Magna Carta for Electricity Consumers

Notice is hereby given that the Magna Carta for Electricity Consumers (formerly the Electricity Consumers’ Code of Rights and Obligations), is scheduled for public consultation on April 27, 2004, 9:00 A.M. at the ERC Hearing Room, 15th Floor, Pacific Center Building, San Miguel Avenue, Ortigas Center, Pasig City.

All interested parties may submit additional comments (hard and soft copies) on the said provisions of the proposed Magna Carta on or before April 12, 2004, at the Consumer Affairs Service located at the 12th Floor, Pacific Center Building, San Miguel Avenue, Ortigas Center, Pasig City. Comments may also be sent thru facsimile at telefax no. (02) 687-5577 or e-mail at consumer@erc.gov.ph, mcbugayong@erc.gov.ph or mccgines@erc.gov.ph.

Only parties who have filed their written comments on or before the prescribed period would be allowed to participate in the above scheduled public consultation. The proposed Magna Carta may be photocopied, at cost, during the regular office hours at the ERC Main Office at the above-mentioned address or may be downloaded from the ERC Website at www.erc.gov.ph.
