Public consultation on the draft Competition Rules and Complaint Procedures
Notice is hereby given that the Competition Rules, Guidelines and Complaint Procedures for the Promotion of Competition and Market Development and Providing Penalties for Abuse of Market Power, Cartelization and Anti-Competitive or Discriminatory Behavior, particularly Rules 4, 8 and 9 thereof, is scheduled for public consultation on March 22, 2004, 9:00 A.M. at the ERC Hearing Room, 15th Floor, Pacific Center Building, San Miguel Avenue, Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
All interested parties may submit additional comments (hard and soft copies) on the said provisions of the proposed Rules and Procedures on or before March 8, 2004, at the Consumer Affairs Service located at the 12th Floor, Pacific Center Building, San Miguel Avenue, Ortigas Center, Pasig City. Comments may also be sent thru facsimile at telefax no. (02) 687-5577 or e-mail at consumer@erc.gov.ph, mcbugayong@erc.gov.ph or mccgines@erc.gov.ph. Only parties who have filed their written comments on or before the prescribed period would be allowed to participate in the above scheduled public consultation. The proposed Rules may be photocopied, at cost, during the regular office hours at the ERC Main Office at the above-mentioned address or may be downloaded from the ERC Website at www.erc.gov.ph.
