ERC to promulgate the DWRG by November 29, 2004
Ensuing from the second public consultation on the Distribution Wheeling Rate Guidelines held on October 19, 2003 (see news item: ERC concludes DWRG public consultations), the Energy Regulatory Commission together with its Consultants from the Price Waterhouse Coopers are now in the process of finalizing the Distribution Wheeling Rate Guidelines.
The intention is to promulgate the DWRG by November 29, 2004.
With this target, the ERC issued the following timetable:
November 16, 2004: The final guidelines shall be posted in the ERC Website. This shall be open for comments by all stakeholders and interested parties.
November 19, 2004: Deadline for written comments from stakeholders
November 25, 2004: Conduct of briefing for the private distribution utilities
November 29, 2004: Promulgation of the DWRG. The guidelines shall be posted in the ERC Website and circulated in major publications
