ERC has an officer-in-charge

ERC Commissioner Leticia V. Ibay has been designated by former Chairman Manuel R. Sanchez as officer-in-charge. The former ERC chief who resigned effective December 30, 2003 made the designation to avoid disruption in the dispensation of functions and services of the Commission.

President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is yet to name the replacement of Atty. Sanchez who resigned to seek a seat in congress in the forthcoming elections.
